RFP- Financial Consultant

Project Description: The AHA is looking to enter into an agreement with a qualified fee accountant, consultant or firm to provide as needed services for a wide range of accounting and finance services for AHA.
The Consultant shall:
• Have a minimum of five years of experience in the Yardi database
• Have a minimum of three years experience for a Public Housing Agency, or non profit affordable housing developer/operator or experience with the low-income housing tax credit, or experience with public accounting firm specializing in the above.
• Have the ability to perform all the required services on a timely basis and by statutory deadlines.
• Demonstrate understanding of statutory and/or regulatory frameworks governing the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda and non profit affordable housing.
• Comply with California State law and the ordinances and policies.
• Certify that the consultant is not debarred from performing any services for HUD, HUD related programs, IRS programs and/or any other governmental or private agency.
