Request for Proposal
The University of Alberta (the “University”) is located in Edmonton, Alberta. It is the largest post-secondary institution in the province. The University also ranks among the top five (5) universities in Canada.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued on behalf of Facilities and Operations. The University is inviting Proponents to provide proposals for one (1) forty two (42) inch Double Flanged Keystone GR Series Butterfly Valve with BIFFI B/C Series Scotch Yoke Actuator. These will be used to control the flow of water being returned to the North Saskatchewan River after picking up heat from the chiller condensers at the Cooling Plant.

The successful Proponent will be expected to provide the valve and actuator as well as provide support for installation and usage. The objective of this RFP is to find the best Proposal that meets the desired specification for this project. It is the intent of The University to select a supplier that offers the solution and part for the success of this project.
