Project Description
The selected consultant will complete a four-phase reconnaissance-level historic survey of approximately seventy-four (74) resources in each phase located along and within portions of Main Street, Church Street, North Animas Street, and Convent Street. The survey area encompasses a core section of the Corazón District and will be conducted in accordance with applicable State of Colorado Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (OAHP) standards for Level I surveys.
Scope of Work
The project will include phase 1 only with the next three phases to be bided later:
· Reconnaissance-level documentation of the first phase
· Fieldwork, photographic documentation, and mapping
· Completion of required OAHP forms
· Historical context research appropriate to the survey level
· Final survey report and digital deliverables
Consultant Qualifications
Bidders must demonstrate experience conducting historic resource surveys that meet OAHP standards and must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for architectural history, history, or a related field.
Bid Submission
Bids shall include:
· Project approach and methodology
· Proposed timeline by phase
· Cost proposal broken down by phase
· Qualifications and relevant experience
Bid Deadline: February 17, 2026
Bids must be submitted electronically or delivered to the City of Trinidad by the deadline noted above. Late submissions will not be accepted.
