The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Kwa-di-Tabil Class ferry M.V. Kennewick: Tail shaft bearing and shaft seal replacement; No. 1 and No. 2 rudder overhaul; Hull preservation; Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub Overhaul; No. 1 and No. 2 ends Pickle fork preservation; No. 1 and No. 2 end Oil Distribution Box Exchange; Curtain Plate Exterior; Vehicle deck steel repairs; and other work maintenance work as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 278’ 8” x 64’ and carries 748 passengers and. 64 vehicles. All of the work must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of November 30, 2026 to January 22, 2027.
