Description
VGN Resources Group Inc. (VGN) will be the Program Administrator for projects under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food's (Ministry) extension programming for environment and climate change. This NOI and project is administered by VGN on behalf of the Ministry.
Unbiased information about efficient use of irrigation water has been identified as a key need in the Central Southern Interior and Okanagan regions. The Supplier will produce a series of commodity-specific case studies highlighting relevant irrigation technology/management techniques and cropping system alterations within forage, tree fruits, grapes and field vegetable sectors. The Supplier will also create specific field site data collection protocol(s) to capture practical irrigation/water use, crop production and cost information for the development of extension materials.
