Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety for the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for 2027 Rock Salt for Drinking Water Softening via the City's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/carmelin . Bids will be accepted until 8:00 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 .

Project work will include Rock Salt for use in drinking water softening – 8,000 tons more or less of Coarse Southern United States Rock Salt.
The Rock Salt must meet American Water Works Association (AWWA) specification.
B200-22 and be NSF60 compliant; clean and free of dirt and debris.
