Grande Spirit Foundation
Heritage Lodge, located at 10111 – 96 Street, Grande Prairie, is one of the Foundation’s key supportive living facilities.
The existing West Dining Room wood-burning fireplace and the East Dining Room gas insert fireplace mantle have been decommissioned but remain improperly sealed, resulting in drafts, energy loss, and aesthetic concerns.
This project involves:
Demolition and removal of existing components
Framing in of fireplace openings
Installation of batt insulation and a continuous vapour barrier up to the chimney
Chimney capping at roof level
Architectural millwork finishes to complement the dining room interiors
The intent of this project is to improve resident comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetics within the Heritage Lodge dining areas.
