The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, located in Norfolk, VA, intends to award a sole source contract for Surface Velocity Profile Drifter Systems (Ice Trackers) in support of the U.S. Interagency Arctic Buoy Program (USIABP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334513. The resulting contract will be procured from Pacific Gyre to acquire 55 buoys. The required period of performance is 90 days after contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quote that may be considered by the NAVSUP FLCN Contracting Officer. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
