George Washington Regional Commission -Fredericksburg, Virginia

The George Washington Regional Commission (hereinafter âthe Commissionâ), a Virginia Planning District Commission (PDC) created by the General Assembly in 1968, is seeking proposals from Certified Public Accounting firms to establish an on-call contract for the performance of up to three (3) annual financial Single Audits (OMB Circular A-133) audits of the Commission, beginning with Fiscal Year 2026 (which shall end on June 30, 2026) as well as Fiscal Years 2027 and 2028. Upon successful completion of the proposed three years and approval by the GWRC Commission, the Commission may extend the contract up to an additional 2 fiscal years to include FY2029 and FY2030. The Commission reserves the right to cancel said contract with thirty (30) daysâ notice for the convenience of the Commission, and without cause.In addition to annual financial Single Audits, selected firm will be asked to provide assistance in agency indirect cost calculations and negotiation and other miscellaneous accounting principles.
