Remove existing asphalt shingle roofing system at building 113 and provide a new metal shingles. Project includes some wood plank deck replacement, new self-adhering underlayment, new metal roof shingles, existing wood soffit and fascia repair and paint, the reinforcement of rafters exposed at soffit, new prefinished drip edge, gutters, and downspouts. Provide a six-nail pattern at each shingle installation. Install in accordance with roofing manufacturers details required to meet manufacturer’s 30-year roof warranty 120 mph wind speed coverage.
Building 113 is a historical building, extra care is to be taken, and all new materials and paint colors are to be coordinated through the COR and the Cultural Resource Manager.
The tentative date for the issuance of the solicitation is 25 July 2025. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is 6 August 2025 @ 0900 MDT, and the location will be stated in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. All questions from the pre-bid conference must be submitted by 13 August 2025 @ 1200 MDT via email to Jakeb.I.James.civ@army.mil.
