The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) Rock Island, IL on behalf of the Project Lead Joint Services (PLJS) is seeking information from foreign and domestic sources interested in designing, constructing, and commissioning an efficient and modern Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP) facility capable of loading/filling, assembling, and packing the 155mm and 105mm projectiles at Iowa Army Ammunition Plant (IAAAP), a Government Owned, Contractor Operated facility in Middletown, Iowa.
Refer to the Sources Sought Attachment 0001 for more details. Attachment 0002 contains the industry day registration form.
Amendment 1: Attachment 0001 was amended to change the dates on page 8 under INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION to February 19, 2025 and February 20, 2025. Times will be provided at a later date. Changes are highlighted in yellow.
Amendment 2:
The purpose of posting to sources sought under W519TC-25-R-0032 is to provide additional information post industry day conducted on February 19-20, 2025, at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. The United States Government (Government) is offering industry another 1-on-1 with the Government for 30 minutes. The tentative schedule for the 1-on-1s is the week of March 10, 2025. The Government requests industry provide request for follow on meeting by March 5, 2025, and the Government will coordinate meetings with interested companies.
During industry day tours, two sites were shown to industry for consideration under W519TC-25-R-0032. The Government requests industry follow the sources sought which the Government identified a tentative site location up to approximately 240 acres for the construction of the facility. The other site, which was identified as site one (1), should not be used in submittal of response to W519TC-25-R-0032. The approximately 240 acres shall be the location industry uses in response.
The Government is currently working to provide additional documents per industry request. The Government will require industry to sign an NDA prior to any document release. The personnel making the request on behalf of each individual company, shall be the Data Custodian listed in the Joint Certification Program. The Government requests industry submit a request for an NDA from Mr. Corey Schaefer for the NDA to be formalized prior to release of any Government documents.
The Government amends the due date of submittal under W519TC-25-R-0032 from March 17, 2025, to March 27, 2025.
Amendment 3:
The purpose of this posting (Amendment 3) is to provide industry notification that all questions for sources sought are due today February 28, 2025. The posting (Amendment 2) on February 27, 2025 notifying industry of potential second 1-on-1s the week of March 10, 2025 will be conducted virtually. This posting (Amendment 3) notifies industry that companies need to respond by March 5, 2025 if they want a second 1-on-1 with the Government. The Government is not planning any future 2nd industry days as part of this sources sought.
