Facilitation of forest Landscape Planning

The Ministry of Forests is seeking a facilitator role to support the development of Forest Landscape Plans (FLP) for in the Cariboo Natural Resource Region.

The project facilitator will assist the project manager, facilitate discussions at the planning tables, and prepare summary documents.  Subject matter expertise and analytical support will be provided by government staff or other subject matter experts.  The project facilitator is expected to have a working knowledge of the subjects being discussed.

The FLP will specify measurable management outcomes with rationales that address production of timber, protection and conservation of the environment, forest health (including wildfire risk mitigation, disease and drought) and values placed on forest ecosystems by Indigenous peoples and local communities.
