Spectral Response Function Files

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence (DND), in order to maintain accuracy and complete functioning of its Middle Wavelength Infrared (MWIR) and Long Wavelength Infrared (LWIR) camera platforms, requires a support Contract to produce Spectral Response Function Files for these camera platforms.

The resulting Contract will contain initial and optional deliverables which may be purchased for a period until 31 March 2028.

Delivery of the items is within Ottawa, Ontario

Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

Nature of Requirement: The Contractor must complete spectral curve analysis services, create Spectral Response Function Files and deliver the Spectral Response Function Files to DND. The creation of a Spectral Response Function File for either an MWIR Camera or LWIR Camera is required up to three (3) times per year.

Detailed specification can be found at Annex “Statement of Requirement” of the attached Solicitation of Offers

Delivery Date: No later than three (3) weeks upon receipt of camera platform and lens.

Competitive Procurement Strategy: For Canada to declare an offer compliant, the offer must comply with the requirements of the solicitation of offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria. Canada will consider the compliant offer with the lowest evaluated price for award.

Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

Security Requirements: There is no security requirement associated with this Solicitation of Offers.
