High Ridge Water Tank Painting

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals for the construction of High Ridge Water Tank Painting will be received by the City of Pelham, Alabama (Owner) in the DSPW City Hall Conference Room in Pelham, Alabama at 3162 Pelham Parkway until 2:00 p.m., the prevailing time, on December 4, 2025 or by mailing to Post Office Box 1479, Pelham, Alabama  35124 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.  The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities:

• Cleaning and Painting (Exterior Only) of one 1.3 MG Pre-Stressed Concrete Ground Storage Tank

Specifications may be inspected at the Water Works of the City of Pelham, Alabama, and at Municipal Consultants, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama. They may also be obtained from the office of Municipal Consultants, Inc., 200 Century Park South, Suite 212, Birmingham, Alabama 35226, upon payment of $75.00. Cost of specifications is non-refundable.

All Bidders must be responsible and meet the criteria and requirements outlined in the specification documents.  Prequalification of Bidders is not required.

This project is considered a “Public Works” project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code.   Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.  No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for the receipt of the same.

The applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama govern this project.

There will not be a mandatory Pre-Bid conference for this project.
