Requirement
The Herzberg Astronomy & Astrophysics (HAA) Research Centre at the NRC has a requirement for the delivery of a Reverberation Chamber and Radio Frequency Shielded Control Room. The delivery is required in Kaleden, British Columbia on or before March 16, 2026.
Bidders’ Conference
A virtual bidders' conference will be held on June 3rd, 2025. The conference will begin at 13:00 pm EDT. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s), maximum of 2 (two), and email addresses who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than 30th May, 2025, 14:00 pm EDT.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
Note to Bidders
The bidders must submit fixed price. All prices must be submitted in Canadian currency. Customs duties are excluded and applicable taxes are extra.
Evaluation Process
Bidders must meet all the mandatory criterion described in the Request for Proposal.
Inquiries
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) days prior to the bid closing date.
