Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 1, Regional Procurement Office East intends to negotiate a sole source contract for W065 Lease Or Rental Of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies in accordance with FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) . Competition is restricted on this procurement due to Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The associated NAICS code for this is 532490. The vendor will be RAYUS Radiology, 5775 Wayzata Blvd., 400 St. Louis Park. MN 55416.

Description of Service:
SERVICE: The Contracting Activity is looking to acquire delivery and implementation of (1) Siemens Horizon PET/CT system housed in a mobile coach. This acquisition will include options. The location of the service will be at the West Haven VA Medical Center, 950 Campbell Avenue West Haven, CT 06516-2770.
It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers.
Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 10:00 AM EST on 09/30/2025.
