RFP 10248 - NERC HVAC UPGRADES

Project Description: The Community College of Philadelphia is bidding out a project for the replacement and upgrade of the heat pump units, house pumps, and motor units for our Northeast Regional Center (NERC) building. Our overall goal is to replace the existing, end-of-life infrastructure with new, high-efficiency systems. By replacing and upgrading these units, we will improve our energy efficiency, building comfort, and operational reliability. The project requires the replacement of forty-four (44) heat pumps and four (4) house pumps. During the pre-bid walk-through, the HVAC contractor must identify the tonnage, size, and voltage of each individual heat pump to ensure accurate bidding. All existing heat pumps have far exceeded their useful lifespan, with several units completely non-operational or running well below their intended efficiency.

10248 - NERC HVAC UPGRADES until 07/21/2026, 12:00pm ET, for the following contracts:

Bids will be publicly available on PennBid directly after the closing of Bids.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on 6/29/2026 9:00 AM. The attendees are directed to meet at the front of
the Northeast Regional Center Lobby, 12901 Townsend Rd, Philadelphia PA, 19154.
Bidding Documents will be available at no cost at www.PennBid.net as they become available.
This Project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
ONCE THE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS HAS BEEN REACHED, NO TERMS OF
THE CONTRACT CONTAINED IN THE RFP MAY BE MODIFIED, REVISED OR
CHANGED AND THE OWNER WILL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY SUCH REQUESTS.
