Description

The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) is issuing this Request for Services (“RFS”) to Pre-Qualified Suppliers for:

Identify short and medium-term rehabilitation requirements to continue the safe and reliable functioning of the Portage Diversion Inlet Structure (PDIS) for a further 50-year design life.
Provide a staged ten-year (maximum) rehabilitation plan based on the relative risk-ranked priorities.
Consider all supporting and auxiliary equipment and systems for the proper and reliable functioning of the PDIS.
Estimate the cost to perform the operations and maintenance work described in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manual at the PDIS.
Perform a gap analysis to identify any deficiencies in O&M procedures.
Assess current and documented ice management practices and provide options for improvement if possible and provide scope for further study with high level options.
