Description

The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) is issuing this Request for Services (“RFS”) to Pre-Qualified Suppliers for:
  • Identify short and medium-term rehabilitation requirements to continue the safe and reliable functioning of the Portage Diversion Inlet Structure (PDIS) for a further 50-year design life.
  • Provide a staged ten-year (maximum) rehabilitation plan based on the relative risk-ranked priorities.
  • Consider all supporting and auxiliary equipment and systems for the proper and reliable functioning of the PDIS.
  • Estimate the cost to perform the operations and maintenance work described in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manual at the PDIS.
  • Perform a gap analysis to identify any deficiencies in O&M procedures.
  • Assess current and documented ice management practices and provide options for improvement if possible and provide scope for further study with high level options.
