400 Center Street Dock and Access Repairs

The Town of Yarmouth is seeking written quotes for the 400 Center Street Dock and Access Repairs Project in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, §39M. The work includes removal and reinstallation of a security gate, repair of the outer walkway, removal and replacement of offshore pilings, reinstallation of dock brackets, and repair of structural components. All materials shall be pressure-treated lumber and galvanized or stainless steel hardware.

The estimated cost of the project is approximately $16,000 to $20,000. This estimate is provided for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a guaranteed or maximum price.

All labor is to be in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts prevailing Wage Rates. The Quotes must reflect the Prevailing Wage Schedule #.

Contractor must be properly licensed and insured.

All bidders shall be required to provide Certification of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training in accordance with Massachusetts General Law 30: Section 39S, as amended by Chapter 306 of the Acts of 2004, effective 7/1/06.

A site visit is required prior to submitting a quote. Contractors shall coordinate directly with the Town to schedule a site visit. Site visits may be conducted independently. Contractors may contact the Project Manager, David Condon, to schedule access or request assistance if needed. Failure to attend a site visit may result in rejection of the quote.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive any informalities or minor irregularities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Town.
