Gurdon School District Elementary Classroom/Storm Shelter Addition
1. TIME & PLACE:
All bid packages for the Gurdon Elementary Classroom/Storm Shelter Addition, 7780 Hwy 67 South, Gurdon, AR, are available for Trade Contractor proposals. Bid packages include but not limited to: earthwork, concrete, masonry, metal panels, structural steel, metal stud framing/sheetrock/acoustical ceilings, glass, glazing, aluminum framed windows, hollow metal doors/frames/Hardware, misc. specialties, painting, millwork, floor covering, waterproofing & joint sealant, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. (CDT) on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Nabholz Construction office located at 612 Garland Street, Conway, AR. Bids will be opened at Gurdon School District on Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 10:00.
Bids can be submitted in-person in a sealed envelope, by email, or through Building Connected. If submitting via email or through Building Connected, it will be the responsibility of the bidder to confirm receipt of bid. All bids will be received and taken under advisement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the closing time will not be opened, reviewed or considered. Bids are on a lump sum basis.

2. EXAMINATION & PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS:
Construction Documents are available to be obtained electronically at no cost by qualified bidders through Building Connected. Hard copies can be viewed at the Nabholz Conway office. Contact a project team member listed below to access documents.
3. BID REQUIREMENTS
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid over $50,000.00, in accordance with the Instructions for Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. Bidder must have a current general or specialty license from the Arkansas Contractor’s License Board before the bid proposal will be considered. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
