Overview

Request for Qualifications The State Board of Administration of Florida (SBA) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQu) for the purpose of soliciting responses from qualified individuals (Respondents) in the fields of coastal engineering and statistics to serve as members of a team of professional experts, (Professional Team) and to provide expert consulting services in their respective fields to the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology (Commission) as further described in Appendix A, Scope of Services. The Request for Qualifications (RFQu) is available and may be obtained from the SBA’s website at http://www.sbafla.com/partners/. The SBA reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to cancel the above RFQu at any time. The deadline for submitting responses is 5:00 p.m. (EST), April 14, 2026. The SBA announces the following meeting dates, times and locations with respect to this RFQu. A meeting will be held on April 28, 2026, to discuss the responses received, and to designate short-listed respondents for interviews and/or onsite visits (if necessary), and further consideration. A meeting will be held on May 14, 2026, to select consultants to serve as members of a team of professional experts. All meetings except interviews and/or onsite visits are open to the public and shall take place at the times and location shown below: TIME: Unless otherwise provided on the SBA's website, all meetings shall begin at 11:00 a.m. (EST) and continue until the meeting is concluded. The actual meeting dates and times will be posted on the SBA’s website at http://www.sbafla.com at least 7 days prior to the meeting. LOCATION: The meetings shall take place via Microsoft Teams Any changes to the above meeting dates and/or times (including the cancellation of any meeting) will be posted on the SBA’s website at http://www.sbafla.com/partners/ at least 7 days prior to the meeting.
