Description
Synopsis,

The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Replace Wooden Foot Bridge at Nahuku, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park (HAVO)
Work to include:
• Replacement of the bridge superstructure and railings for the deteriorated wooden foot bridge at Nahuku. The bridge is a 5-foot wide, 50-foot-long pedestrian bridge constructed in 1976.
• Cleaning of corrosion and coating of existing structural steel pier and connections to remain with galvanized repair paint.
The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 with a size standard of $45M. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. This project will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. A single firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated.
The project magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
Place of performance will be Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park (HAVO).
The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on/or about 24 Jul 2025, and will be posted to SAM.gov.
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies of the solicitation.
REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI). Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date.
