Description: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is pleased to announce $585,000 in available rebates to municipalities for the purchase or lease of new (model year 2025 and 2026) battery electric, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles for municipal fleet use. Bids are accepted via the Statewide Financial System Grants Management System. Funding for this grant opportunity is provided by the Environmental Protection Fund and administered pursuant to Environmental Conservation Law Article 54, Title 15 and 6 NYCRR Part 492, Climate Smart Community Projects.
