CONTRACT WORK DESCRIPTION: Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Citywide Fiber Communications Upgrades CIP 2022-55
including but not limited to; furnishing and installing communications conduit and pull boxes and splice
vaults, roadway and sidewalk restorations, and furnishing and installing fiber optic cabling and
equipment and all related work complete and in place.
Contract Documents may be downloaded from the City’s website www.cityofsanteeca.gov listed under
“Bid Opportunities” of the main page or examined at the office of the City Clerk, 10601 Magnolia
Avenue, Building 3, Santee, CA 92071. All bidders shall notify the City of Santee to be added to the
bidder’s list if plans and specifications are downloaded from the City’s website in order to receive any
addendums to the contract documents.
Bid Opening Date: Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Office of the City Clerk, 10601
Magnolia Avenue, Building 3, Santee, CA 92071
Pre-Bid Meeting (Non-Mandatory) Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at City Hall
Building 5, 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Building 3, Santee, CA 92071.
Bid Bond/Cashier’s Check: 10%, Performance Bond: 100%, Material & Labor Bond: 100%
Contractor License: California Classification “A” or “C-10” (required at time of bid submission).
Engineer’s Estimate: $ 875,000.00
Contract Working Days: 70 Working Days
