The County of Orange, County Procurement Office (hereinafter referred to as “County”), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as “Respondents”) for Recycling (Revenue) and Confidential Document and Media Destruction Services . Respondents must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth within the RFP and be capable of providing services identified in the Scope of Work herein.
Contractor is to provide the services to various County facilities located throughout County of Orange on an as-needed basis. The Contractor will pick up an average of approximately twenty-three (23) tons paper recycling, and an average of approximately fifty-nine (59) tons for paper destruction per month from approximately two-hundred seventeen (217) building locations within the County of Orange. The County makes no guarantee of the quantity or frequency of pick-ups. Pick-up locations may be added and/or deleted at any time during the Contract.
Individual agencies/departments or participating government entities will utilize the Contract by contacting the Contractor directly to participate in the program. Individual agencies/departments or participating government entity will provide the Contractor with their pickup location(s), and the name and telephone number of a contact person for each location. Each location will be given an account number for which media type and recycle weights will be reported by pickup date on a monthly basis to the assigned DPA at the County Procurement Office (CPO).
Each Department may have different hours of operations; however, all non-urgent services shall be completed within regular County business hours. All emergency/urgent services shall be coordinated with each respective ordering Department The propose schedule below is subject to change.
