AlexRenew is accepting applications from potential contractors to bid on the Low Pressure System Improvement Project. The purpose of this solicitation is to determine which Applicants are qualified to construct the Project. Scope SummaryBuilding A: Replace one boiler (6,900 lb/hour capacity) and boiler feed unit, replace and relocate blowdown tank and chemical feed system, and provide new draining piping;Gallery 8: Replace and modify condensate return transfer (CRT) system and replace chemical feed system;Building 28: Replace boiler feed system and chemical feed system; Facility-wide: Replace approximately 2,000-feet of LPS, CRT gravity, and pressure piping and associated accessories such as valves, fittings, condensate return units, and steam traps anddemolish selected deactivated assets.
