Description: The Town of Schoharie is seeking proposals from qualified planning consultants or consultant teams to assist in the development of a Gateway Area Plan with integrated form-based code strategies and a focus on smart growth. This area is a vital 350-acre commercial and mixed-use district at Exit 23 of I-88 and NY Routes 7 and 30A in Schoharie County, NY, serving as a strategic connector between local assets and broader regional initiatives. This project is funded by $90,000, DOS Smart Growth grant with a contract goal that a minimum of 30% of the total contract value be awarded to certified Minority- or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs). Many plan references are available to include the newly updated Town and Village Joint Comprehensive Plan (2025) and its appendices.
