INVITATION TO BID

METAL PURCHASE FROM CITY OF RAWLINS

“LAWRENCE JUNKYARD METAL PURCHASE”

THE CITY OF RAWLINS , a Wyoming Municipal Corporation will receive sealed bids for the purchase of metal from the Lawrence Property aka Lawrence Junkyard located between Cedar Street and Spruce Street, Rawlins, Wyoming, commencing on July 8, 2025 and concluding on August 14, 2025, (No faxed or emailed bids) in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, PO Box 953 – 521 West Cedar Street, Rawlins, WY  82301, until 2:00pm on Thursday, August 14, 2025,at which time bids will be publicly opened at City Hall.  No bids will be considered that are received after the scheduled time.  All bids will be on separate forms and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the project “LAWRENCE JUNKYARD METAL PURCHASE” in the lower left-hand corner.

There is a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 2:00pm MST on Spruce Street across from the Carbon County Fair Grounds, Rawlins, Wyoming.

Bidding documents and the proposed agreement are available from the City Clerk’s Office at the address shown above, by calling (307) 328-4500 or by downloading them from the city website at www.rawlinswy.gov .  Bidders shall use the city bid form.  Any questions relative to this Invitation to Bid should be directed to Luis Lascano at (307) 328-4500, ext 1070.

The bid form, general provisions, proposed agreement, and W.S. Statute §15-1-113 are by reference made a part of the bidding documents and invitation to bid.  The city reserves the right to waive any and all informalities of any bid.   The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept deviations from the specifications, and to waive any formality or technicality in the bidding which, in its sole and absolute judgment and discretion, shall under all circumstances, best serve the city’s interests.  The City may require up to thirty (30) days after the opening of the bids for acceptance of the winning bid.

This project requires a Two Hundred Fifty Dollar ($250.00) payment bid bond with submitted bid.
