MQ-9A Parts for the Medium Altitude Long Endurance Tactical (MALET) Stand-Alone Aircrew Trainers (MSATs) 6&7 and Spares for the Ground Data Terminal (GDT)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Priced Delivery Order N0001925F0050 under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0006 to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA, for the procurement of parts necessary for the successful operational capability of the MQ-9A Medium Altitude Long Endurance Tactical (MALET) Stand-Alone Aircrew Trainers (MSATs) 6&7 and spares for the MQ-9A Ground Data Terminal (GDT). This order was awarded to GA-ASI in the amount of $1,978,770.94.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements.” A determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 23-0100 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
