The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc. (BAE Systems) of Rockville, MD. The Government requires the Contractor to provide technical engineering services for integrated facilities acquisition and engineering support of Strategic Systems Programs’ Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS), Strategic Weapons System (SWS), COLUMBIA/United Kingdom (UK) Successor, Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS), Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N), Nuclear Defense Enterprise Review (NDER), and Field Activity Sustainment Support System programs. Further, BAE is the only source with the requisite proficiency and experience with the numerous on-going SLBM specific FA&E projects in process that must be supported by these efforts.
The period of performance will be from 01 Oct 2026 to 30 September 2027, with four one-year options with a total period of performance from 01 Oct 2026 to 30 September 2031. It will also include provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%. Award will be made using other than full and open competition to BAE Systems of Rockville, MD. No Solicitation package is available.
