The U.S. Department of Energy, Grid Deployment Office (GDO) plans to issue a standalone contract to The C Three Group / Yes Energy. The C Three Group / Yes Energy possess a comprehensive database and vital resources that already currently aide GDO’s support in reporting statutorily required efforts, such as the National Transmission Needs Study, and other market research efforts essential to GDO program scoping. This database is vital in providing information on historical transmission buildouts dating back to at least 2010, transmission projects currently under development, and anticipated future transmission buildouts through 2025 across the entire United States.
The Government intends to award a sole source contract to The C Three Group / Yes Energy. The period of performance for this award will be one (1) base year (beginning January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025) with four (4) subsequent one-year option periods.
The award will be issued via other than full and open competition, only one responsible source as no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements.
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT; no solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes DOE should not pursue this sole source procurement with The C Three Group / Yes Energy, then interested parties may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency NO LATER THAN 15 days from posting date via e-mail to Sirron Scott, Sirron.Scott@hq.doe.gov. The written response must include a general statement for the services indicated in this announcement and past performance client information for a similar product.
A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this requirement competitively in the future. No solicitation is available for this requirement.
