NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Covington County School District will accept proposals for Instructional Technology
Devices (PreK) for the 2026-2027 school year. All proposals must be submitted to the Office of
the Superintendent of Education, at 108 Main Street, Collins, MS 39428 no later than 10:00 a.m.
CST, Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Description: Instructional Technology Devices (PreK) 2026-2027
Official proposal documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at
www.centralbidding.com, for a fee, or by visiting www.covingtoncountyschools.org. Electronic
proposals can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com however, hardcopy bids will also be
accepted. For any questions relating to the Central Bidding platform, please call Central Bidding
at 225-810-4814.
All submissions must be sealed and clearly marked as stated below.

Description: Instructional Technology Devices (PreK) 2026-2027
No proposal will be accepted via email. Submitting via email will disqualify the vendor from
selection.
This procurement will be conducted using a two-step process, including:
1. Evaluation of proposals for responsiveness and responsibility; and
2. A reverse auction for pricing among qualified vendors.
Only vendors meeting all minimum qualifications and specifications will be invited to participate
in the reverse auction process.
The Covington County School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted and to
waive any informalities.
All bids are subject to federal/state appropriation and the ability of the district’s Comprehensive
Federal Program Application to accommodate this expense.
