APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support, the requirement for the following:
Work Includes: Complete all tasks required for preparation of a final performance specifications package, the award of a contract, construction, commissioning, and project closeout for the replacement of the service elevator at the Harry S. Truman Power Plant, Warsaw, Missouri.
The new service elevator will have a 4500 lb. weight rating and will be a service only rated or industrial cab and will not be required to meet ADA requirements. Hoist power for the new elevator will be prioritized over speed. This scope will involve completing the development of a final performance specification package with performance-based requirements.
The anticipated contract will be accomplished by labor categories that are subject to the Davis-Bacon Act or a collective bargaining agreement.
The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis.
See attachment for submission requirements.
