Dear KUA Team,
Load tests are normally avoided for Transmission poles due to high cost and delays in delivery. Moreover it`s only one pole per per type, each one with a load test!. Can you confirm this load test is rally needed? |
7/13/2026 7:11:51 PM | KUA has removed the load test requirement for this project. | 8/10/2026 10:05:56 AM |
|
For structures 9194, the load values appear to be corrupted (refer to the image below), and the same values are shown for all load cases. Could you please provide the correct load table for this structure.

Please confirm the loading information for the following structures:
Structure 9194: The loading table appears to be inconsistent. Could you please confirm that the loading values shown are correct? Structure 9195: The loading table does not include the Ahead and Back components. Based on the current loading, the structure appears to represent a dead-end condition rather than a tangent structure. Could you please confirm that the loading values are correct, or provide an updated loading table if necessary? |

There are eight pairs the load point(red part in the below table) in the load table, but these loading positions did not mark on the drawings. Please provide the position on the pole where these loads should be applied. |
7/24/2026 10:21:45 AM | KUA has removed the load test requirement for this project. | 8/10/2026 10:07:06 AM |

2. Regarding the arm
a. The 2.02B.4 item In the MVAB26096 TUBULAR STEEL SPECIFICATION said “Arm Shape: Provide 4-sided arm sections”. Can the arm be changed to 6 sided ? b. Based on diagram of the arm in the drawing, There seems to be a rise at small end of arm. Could you provide the rise size? |
7/24/2026 10:23:24 AM | The distribution arm design should meet the provided horizontal length and loading requirements. Any necessary design changes to the arm shape or rise are acceptable. | 8/10/2026 10:07:25 AM |
