Open & Competitive Opportunity
• Request for Proposal
The David Thompson Corridor is located along Highway 11 in west central Alberta and includes Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area (PRA), Beaverdam PRA, and Snow Creek PRA. The corridor forms a key recreational and tourism route providing access to provincial recreation areas, public land use zones, and backcountry destinations.
Fish Lake PRA, Beaverdam PRA, and Snow Creek PRA have been prioritized for phased upgrades and expansion due to consistent seasonal capacity pressures and demonstrated potential for future visitor growth. Planned improvements are intended to increase camping capacity, modernize infrastructure, and enhance visitor experience while maintaining alignment with Alberta Forestry and Parks standards and environmental management objectives.
The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to use the FMP to guide assessment, detailed design, approval securement, preparation of tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the three PRA sites.
Refer to the RFP document for additional background information and details regarding complete scope of work.
