Synopsis for Parachute Operations Aircraft Services and Support

2d Reconnaissance Battalion has a requirement for Parachute Operations Aircraft Services and Support near Camp Lejeune, NC.

It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 481219 -Other Nonscheduled Air Transportation. Vendors interested in this requirement must be listed on the DoD Paratroop Commercial Operator Listing, managed by Air Mobility Command, Commercial Airlift Division, HQ AMC/A3B.

The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12. Basis for Award: Award will be made using best value: technical capability, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to make an award to the vendor whose proposal represents the best value to the Government based on (1) vendor’s technical capability, (2) price, and (3) Past Performance using the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS). Technical capability will be based on the demonstrated ability to meet the technical requirements.

The solicitation will contain the complete Performance Work Statement (PWS).
