Billboard Advertising – Lamar Advertising

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to enter a 12-week agreement with Lamar Advertising to provide billboard advertising space to increase recruitment of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteers, build MRC capacity to act in an emergency and /or long-term public health response across Minnesota.

This has been deemed a single source as MDH conducted a survey of local MRC units to identify the areas in need of outreach. The results revealed 11 targeted regions requiring volunteer recruitment and community engagement efforts. After thorough evaluation Lamar Advertising was the only provider with availability and exclusive access to 8 of the multi-county billboard locations, with the required expertise in executing public health-related campaigns, and the capacity to deliver with the project’s timeframe.
