Silver Queen Water Main Upgrades
Request for Proposals
Invitation
Qualified individuals, firms or consortiums are invited to submit a proposal to the Town of Breckenridge (“hereinafter referred to as “OWNER”) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Silver Queen Water Main Upgrades Project.
The successful CMAR will provide Pre-Construction services while completing the design of the project, and then at the OWNER’s option, enter into a construction contract with the OWNER based on the final construction documents.
The design team for this project is led by JVA.
The purpose of this solicitation is to bind a competent, experienced contractor into a formal Agreement with the OWNER to perform the work described in the Request for Proposals. The Silver Queen Water Main Upgrades Project will upgrade the water main in the Warrior’s Mark area. The complete project description and 30% drawings are in the full Request for Proposals document.
Proposers are cautioned to read the entire Request for Proposals, noting all particular submittal requirements, including both substance and format. Failure to provide all requested information in the manner required might be cause for rejection of proposal at the sole discretion of the OWNER.
This invitation should not be construed as a commitment of any kind on the part of the OWNER, nor does it commit the OWNER to pay for any costs incurred in the submission of a proposal package, nor for any costs incurred prior to the execution of a formal Agreement.

Proposers are advised that the bids are subject to public disclosure under Colorado Law and will not be treated as confidential. All materials submitted become the property of the Owner and may be made public in whole or in part at the discretion of the Owner with two notable exceptions. Information marked confidential such as trade secrets and references shall be treated as privileged information and confidential commercial information under the Colorado Open Records Law.
