Description: The current tanks are beyond their serviceable life. The new tanks will be used to store chemicals for anti-icing and de-icing airfield pavement surfaces. The contractor shall provide two (2) Double Wall Horizontal Storage Tanks with a minimum capacity of 18,000 gallons each, along with a Transfer System. Delivery and installation at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB) are required. Additionally, The contractor shall provide one on-site training session and Tank offloading, setting, and anchoring to the existing slab will be performed by others
The Statement of Need states the need of Stainless Steel for its Corrosive Resistant Properties, If another material would meet or exceed its efficiency, please include that with your replies.
