SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION
The City of Cathedral City is requesting Proposals from qualified Contractors to provide janitorial services at our City Hall, Police Department, and our administrative Fire Department.

SECTION 2 PROPOSER’S SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
A. PROPOSAL OVERVIEW

  1. Proposal packets can be downloaded from the Bids and Notices tab (Orange square on home page) on the Cathedral City website: www.cathedralcity.gov .
  2. Submit one original and 3 copies of the written proposal. If submitting electronically, provide work proposal in its own PDF file, separate from the “Price Proposal”.
  3. Submit pricing in a separate envelope entitled “Price Proposal” in the envelope containing the written proposal. If submitting electronically, please provide “Price Proposal” in a separate PDF file within the same email.
  4. Submit the entire proposal in a sealed envelope with “SEALED PROPOSAL FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL” printed on the outside or clearly identify in subject of Email.
  5. The proposal must be received by the City of Cathedral City, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero Cathedral City, CA 92234, or pbumstead@cathedralcity.gov no later than April 14, 2025, by 4:30 P.M.
  6. Proposals must be signed by an official authorized to bind the firm and shall be valid for sixty (60) days.

NOTE: The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at the City’s discretion. Proper notification of changes will be made to all interested parties.

B. GENERAL
By submitting a proposal, the Proposer certifies the Proposal has been arrived at independently and has been submitted without any collusion designed to limit competition.

C. PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL
The Proposal must be signed and submitted no later than April 14, 2025, by 7:00 P.M to the address or email below. Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope or electronic PDF files and designated with proposal title. To ensure your proposal receives priority treatment, please mark as follows:
