Notice is hereby given that Tooele City Corporation (OWNER) will accept bids for construction of the
Oquirrh Hills Golf Course Netting Replacement Project, according to Drawings and Specifications
prepared by the City, and described in general as:
This project consists of the furnishing and installation of golf course netting on seventeen
(17) existing, new wooden poles located on the driving range at the Oquirrh Hills Golf
Course, which span an overall length of approximately 900 linear feet. Fourteen (14) of
the poles are sixty-five (65) feet tall, with the remaining three (3) poles being twenty-five
(25) feet in height. The project also includes all required design engineering as well as the
furnishing and installation of the netting, rope borders, ground anchors, guy / brace
cables, fittings, clamps, eye bolts, and all other labor, equipment and materials necessary
to provide a fully installed and function golf course netting system.
Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices
located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until 1:00 PM on Thursday July 16, 2026, and then at said
office publicly opened and read aloud. Digital bids will not be accepted.
Project Specifications will be issued in digital format (PDF), and may be obtained by contacting Tooele City
Parks Department, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on Thursday June 25, 2026 during office
hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by calling (435) 843-2143.
Prospective BIDDERS are required to attend a MANDATORY pre-bid conference which will be held at the
Oquirrh Hills Golf Course Club House which is located at 1255 East Vine Street, at 11:00 AM on Thursday
July 9, 2026. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions, specifications,
and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project.
Bidders which are not able to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference due to prior commitments or
other obligations must contact the Parks Director to arrange a separate time to review the project prior to
the date of the scheduled pre-bid conference. Bidders which do not attend the pre-bid, or do not arrange
in advance separate arrangements will not be considered for award of the project.
All communication relative to the Project shall be directed to the Parks Director prior to the opening of
