PURPOSE
In order to be in compliance with federal, state and local purchasing laws, the Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for qualified firm(s) to provide Engineering Services on an as-needed basis for District facilities, maintenance program requirements, and upcoming bond projects. Services being solicited include, but are not limited to Civil Engineering/Surveying, Structural Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering.
CONTRACT TERM AND RENEWALS
The award of this solicitation shall be effective from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. The contract will extend automatically for four (4) additional one-year periods (not to exceed a total of 5 years) unless written request by either party to decline extension for additional terms is requested no later than forty-five (45) days prior to the end of the current term. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION Late submittals will not be accepted. No verbal, telephonic, electronic mail or faxed responses will be considered. An electronic copy and three (3) hardbound copies are required. Hardbound copies can be mailed to Purchasing Department, Birdville ISD, 3126 Carson Street, Haltom City, TX 76117. The preferred method of delivery is through the e-bid system with hard copies; however, all paper responses will be accepted in the Purchasing Department prior to the due date and time.
