The intent of this solicitation is to establish an annual requirements contract for the maintenance and repair of automatic doors. The awarded contractor shall provide all necessary repairs to existing automatic doors; restoring them to the specifications contained in the manufacturer’s maintenance and operations manual. Repairs include the replacement of parts as authorized by the City of Arlington Contract Administrator or designee.
Doors shall be repaired and returned to operation in a manner that ensures safe operation for to the user. Equipment installed on the doors shall be of the type and design specifically intended for the application and as authorized by the City of Arlington Contract Administrator or designee.
The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted.
