2025 Parking Lot Paving

Scope of Work: Project construction includes asphalt milling, patching, resurfacing, and striping of the Administration Parking Lot and the Library Parking Lot in Pickens County. The work will include approximately 18,682 SY of Asphalt Resurfacing using 2,055 tons of asphalt paving. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2024; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions.

Project work will be required to be complete by August 31, 2025. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection.

Eligible bidders and subcontractors shall be licensed Contractors in the State of Georgia meeting all applicable insurance and bonding requirements as stipulated in the separate Instructions to Bidders and Contract Documents. It is recommended that the contractor be GDOT qualified. Verifying documents for the prime contractor/bidder will be required prior to contract award, and for all subcontractors prior beginning work. A required Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on January 28th, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Pickens County Administration Office located at 1266 East Church Street Jasper, GA 30143.

Bid Documents may be obtained at the County Office Location by appointment. Proposers are encouraged to request Bid Documents via email. All proposers requesting plans and bid documents will be emailed bid documents. No documents will be mailed.
