INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that the governing board of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (“District”) will
receive sealed bids for: Bid 2025-26.06 Press Box Replacement Glen A. Wilson High School (“Project” or “Contract”).
Bidders must submit sealed bids on or before 3:00 p.m., March 3, 2026, at the District Office, 15959 E Gale Ave., City
of Industry, California 91745. At this time, the District will open the bids & publicly read them aloud. The Project
consists of installation of a prefabricated athletic stadium press box.
All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform & be responsive to all pertinent Contract
Documents.
To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess an active California Contractor B Licenses in good standing
at the time of the bid opening & must remain so throughout the term of the Contract.
Each Bidder shall provide a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. The successful Bidder shall be
required to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond. The successful Bidder may substitute securities in
accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code § 22300.
The successful Bidder & its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing
rate of per diem wages & the general prevailing rate for holiday & overtime work as determined by the Director of
the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed, pursuant to Labor Code
§ 1770 et seq. Bidders & Bidders’ subcontractors shall comply with the registration & qualification requirements
pursuant to Labor Code §§ 1725.5 & 1771.1
A mandatory pre-bid conference/job-walk will be held at Glen A. Wilson High School 1:00 pm February 18, 2026,
16455 Wedgeworth Dr., Hacienda Heights, CA 91745.

The District reserves the right to reject any & all bids or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No Bidder may
withdraw its bid for 90 days after the date of the bid opening.
The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder based on the
Base Bid without consideration of bid options or alternates.
