Downtown Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

SCOPE OF WORK – This project includes the rehabilitation/replacement of approximately 850 LF of 8-inch and 550 LF of 12-inch gravity sewer mains, sewer manholes, and lateral replacement. Approximately 300 LF of the 8-inch pipe rehabilitation will be done by cured-in-place pipe lining. The remaining length of gravity sewer mains will be replaced by open cut method. Associated site work includes storm pipe relocation, asphalt and concrete pavement patching, concrete sidewalk, curb, curb and gutter, entrance, and valley gutter replacement, asphalt pavement milling and overlay, and general site restoration.

A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on September 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Main Street United Methodist Church at 202 North Main Street, Suffolk VA 23434. The parking lot entrance is located off Bank Street at North Commerce Street. This will be the only opportunity for the bidders to walk the site.
