Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and transportation, to service ADA door at Leamy Hall, Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut. This includes disconnecting power, removing the existing door operator and related components, disposing of removed materials, furnishing and installing a new heavy-duty automatic door operator, and installing all necessary hardware and electrical connections. The contractor must reuse existing components if compatible, reconnect activation switches and safety devices, adjust settings to meet ADA and manufacturer standards, ensure safe operation, verify electrical compliance, test the door thoroughly, demonstrate proper function to the government representative, and correct any deficiencies found during final inspection.
