GSA acquisitions is seeking small business response to the subject Request for Information (RFI).
Request for Information (RFI): General Services Administration, Landscaping and Stormwater Branch is seeking the procurement of Landscaping Maintenance Services at Various locations throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area which will consist of approximately 36 sites of approximately 600 acres in size. This future solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set aside for only small business concerns under the NAICS 561730, Grounds Maintenance. Only proposals submitted by small business concerns will be considered by the Government. Any proposal that is not a small business concern will not be considered for award. The contract period of performance will be for one base period with four twelve month options. The anticipated contract will be in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and GSAM.
There are approximately 36 properties for this future solicitation. The approximate acreage for all properites is 600 acres. There are various levels of scale and complexity involved with maintenance on these sites. The properties vary in scope from the Federal Research Center White Oak which is a large campus that has extensive turf, green roofs, ornamental plantings, native plantings and tree maintenance; to small properties such as the Veterans Administration that has shrub foundation plantings and street trees. Other properties include the ATF Headquarters which includes Green Roof plantings, turf, and ornamental plantings and the National Building Museum which has turf and ornamental plantings. The contractor will be required to document the successful management of landscape inventory of a similar scale and complexity within the last 5 years.
