- Summary:VMI will identify which stereo cabinets and shine boxes that need to be resurfaced, only the tops of the units will be refinished. There are approximately 600 units. Contractor will move the units, evenly sand the top to reveal a smooth, uniform wood grain, and refinish it with two coats of a polyacrylic clear coat. Return furniture to its original location. Scope of Work posted in documents. Work to start no earlier than May 19 , 2025 and be finished no later than July 31, 2025.
