RFP for Traffic Control Services
Show description Hide description The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Contract for Traffic Control Services. The work generally consists of,\n The Contractor will commence scheduled and emergency work after the initial request by a SMUD Representative. Traffic Control will be requested, and the work performed in the following manner:\n
Standard Work \n
Any job where the work occurs 4 or more hours after the Contractor receives the task from the SMUD Representative.\n

Night Work\n
Night work is a job that requires traffic control outside of SMUD’s normal business hours but is prescheduled 4 hours or more before the start of the job. If the traffic control job afterhours was not prearranged 4 hours or more prior to the start of the job, then it is considered emergency work.\n

Emergency Work \n
Any call out in which the Contractor is required to be on site less than 4 hours from the time the Contractor receives the task from the SMUD Representative.\n

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (“SMUD”) is seeking proposals for Traffic Control Services.\n
